About our company

Exasoft was formed in 1993 and converted to a Public Limited Company in 2005. The company has concentrated on providing sophisticated software primarily to the financial services sector. This specialism in financial services is based around providing software to meet compliance and statutory requirements within a heavily regulated market place.

We pride ourselves on producing solutions that are innovative allowing our clients to meet critical business requirements in the most effective way possible.  All our development is undertaken in the UK.

Mission Statement

Exasoft is widely recognised as the industry leader for providing commercial solutions for most types of financial redress. Exasoft’s Redress Manager solution has been developed over 20+ years evolving into an all encompassing solution for BAU, end-to-end redress, provisioning, complaint management and auditing. Exasoft continues to strive to make its solution more powerful and effective for its customers.

Corporate Responsibility

Exasoft places great weight on social responsibility and as such our senior management & company are actively involved within the local and wider community (Coventry City Ambassadors group, CCFC Asia community initiative, various advisory boards).We have been accredited under 'Investors in People' since 2005, demonstrating the companies' commitment to developing our employees.

We donate to a variety of charities on an annual basis and have raised thousands of pounds in sponsorship.

Environmental Policy

As part of our commitment to environmental issues we try to work with locally based companies and are constantly looking to reduce our footprint on the environment. We have:

  • Installed more efficient air conditioning for server cooling
  • Switched to low power terminals instead of high power PC's
  • Introduced a policy to purchase lower powered LED monitors when replacing existing screens
  • Introduced recycling for office waste (e.g. paper, plastic...)
  • Introduced a strict policy of purchasing only FSC approved or recycled paper based products
  • Introduced electronic invoicing and licensing where possible
  • Introduced a only print if essential message on all our emails

Health & Safety

We take health and safety very seriously and this is demonstrated throughout everything we do. We have a Health and Safety Manager and hold regular meetings where all details are regularly shared amongst everyone. We aim to:

  • Provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;
  • Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
  • Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
  • Ensure safe handling and use of substances;
  • Provide information instruction and supervision for employees;
  • Ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;
  • Prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health
  • Maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and
  • Review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

Recruitment

Recruitment is key to our organisation and something that we are very passionate about.  It is key to get this right and we strive very hard in this area.  We recruit various roles throughout the year and our roles are advertised directly on our website, Monster and through LinkedIn. We are looking to grow our business and this is reflected in our vacancies.  The recruitment process is fairly quick in that we invite candidates in for our in-house company test, and following on from this you can be invited back as soon as the next day for your interview.  All candidates are contacted personally by our HR Manager.

System Tester

Learning new skills like SQL is an appealing and enjoyable aspect of my position at Exasoft.  The job requires a problem solving and analytical mindset which has allowed me to utilise the skills I acquired at University.  My Physics degree course helped me develop key skills for this position such as problem solving and data analysis.  This turned out to be the ideal position for me based on the skill set I acquired at University.  Exasoft offers a pleasant working environment, with cheerful staff and a peaceful atmosphere. 

Developer

I work with an array of different technologies with the work continuing to throw up new challenges.  I develop software applications and I get a lot of job satisfaction from seeing them being utilised in important projects.  I work in a relaxed friendly atmosphere and a week never goes by without me learning something new. 

Member of the Testing team

Working closely alongside developers enables you to really make a difference to the end software produced; you feel like your input is really valued.  A relaxed environment helps to stimulate the mind and produce the best quality work.  Working as a system tester/trainer means I get to combine the best of both positions in one role. 

Junior Tester

As a recent graduate, Exasoft gave me the opportunity to take my first step onto the career ladder as a Junior System Tester. I feel that Exasoft have allowed for the transition from University to industry to be as smooth as possible; from the insightful recruitment process to the excellent training and professional development opportunities that come thereafter.

Training & Development

We understand that our people are the most important asset in our business and for our business to grow and develop it is vital that our staff have the most up to date skills as this is integral to what we do.  We value both involvement and empowerment and this is looked at from day one, at one to ones and as part of our newly introduced Personal Development Review scheme.  This has evolved alongside our new programme that supports Cefap (The Certificate in Financial Administration and Planning) for most of our staff in the testing team.  We also support other post Graduate Qualifications.

Everyone has annual reviews with interim follow ups as we see training and development as an integral part of learning and we know that this is vital to those with such sought after and valued technical skills.
