The Audit trail (when enabled) shows the dates and times of when the case was opened, closed, and modified or when the comparison screen was viewed and by whom. It also lists the actions taken by the user on that particular date and a short description of what the user did with the case, for example, save changes, abandon, add adjustments….etc. Documents and pdfs can be viewed by a right click on the filename and selecting open. This will only work for documents that have not been moved. For Mail merge documents to be viewed in the Audit trail, ensure that document is saved in the user’s directory and the default filename is not changed. The audit trail is a very useful tool to have when tracking a particular case.
