All comparisons use the selected information on the Repayment calculator and this screen.

 

a)

Lender table - financial institution funds borrowed from (e.g. Bank, Building Society…).

b)

Mortgage type (Interest only or Repayment)

c)

Mortgage term (Same term as calculator or different term)

d)

Interest rate table (place highlighted bar on relevant entry for this particular recalculation (see Interest Rate Setup)).

e)

Adjustments (leave highlighter bar on No Adjustment or change to the relevant entry for this particular comparison (see Adjustment Setup)).

f)

Mortgage Balance (Same balance as calculator or different balance)

g)

‘Include savings’ will include any notional savings on the notional output.

 

Redress formula based on difference in Balance (A - normally interest only) & (B - normally repayment), subtracting any endowment surrender value (A - normally accompanies interest only mortgage) and the addition of any loss from additional payments made using (A - interest only mortgage and endowment policy).

 

When selecting the ‘Include savings’ then the above formula remains the same but the savings are deducted from the redress.
