You have the ability to save the information by clicking on the save icon on the top right hand corner of the party details screen. This option will also take you to the appropriate next screen based on the case information you have entered.
The minimum amount of data needed is the Surname, although it is advisable that you enter the address information, as well. The additional tab(s) allow entry of further client details. Please note that the Town option must have an entry if an address is entered. If a town is not entered in the correct box a warning message will appear. The address fields have a maximum width of 80 characters.
Note: To use the average DTA calculator, the date of birth, sex and smoker will all have to be entered.
The ‘Salutation’ field combines the party information entered into the ‘Title’, ‘Firstname(s)’ and ‘Surname’ fields. It has a maximum width of 250 characters.
Note: Changes made to the ‘Title’, ‘Firstname(s)’ and ‘Surname’ fields are not reflected in the ‘Salutation’, as the ‘Salutation’ field is only populated when blank.
The second, third and fourth party are selected via the Applicant list box (Note. The Copy buttons on the right of the screen will copy the address from the main applicant).
Once you have completed you may save the entries using the ‘Save’ icon in the top right hand corner, or using the ‘Abandon’ option to abandon the changes since the last save (under the main menu ‘Clients’ option). A reference number is always given when saving client details. The new ‘Save’ icon will ensure that you are taken to the correct screen automatically.
