The about box contains information relating to the software version number and loaded data.

 

 

 

When loading updates you will be asked to check the version number and data file dates. In the above example the software version number is v8.0.8 the system data file is dated 02/03/26 (S020326), the interest data file 02/03/26 (I020326), the DTA data file 02/03/26 (D020326), the indices data file 02/03/26 (X020326) and the mortality rates file 02/03/26 (M020326).

 

The Redress Manager Expiry is the date the licence expires; this is normally one year after the licence is taken out.

 

The Mail Merge, Case Transfer and Batch Mode expiry dates are also shown (optional modules / features).

 

The ‘Licensed to’ is the name of the company licensed to use the software and the Current user is the name under which you have logged onto the system.

 

The database version reports the version number of the database and the type of database (Access or SQL Server)

 

The text under the database version is the database type and either ODBC connection or path for Access database. If you are using a dsn less connection, the text will display the contents of the connection file for SQL

 

The Debug file location is where the Redress Manager debug file will be created (this contains information of errors connecting etc.)
