The display item and new wizard tab do not affect the wizard itself, they merely allow for a more uniformed approach to entering data.
Set User Variables Date, numeric and text values can be stored using any variables and they can be used throughout the wizard. This option also allows for setting of the days in month. Variable Y is now Y1 as Y is reserved for Year on dates (reserved items are B, D, M, Y, YY, R, N, P). In the expression field enter {A} to set the current field as variable A .
Check user variable Check a variable against another variable or specific value or compare previous item (with additional options)Numeric, text and date values can be compared.
Check user result Allows you to determine what action to take based on the previous Check result. The checks will allow you to stop the wizard, create an exception, request to use confirmation before continuing or move to a specified step number. This can be useful when you require the same step to be repeated under a given condition.
Get table data This will retrieve a value from a specified table based on the variables used in the expression. Values can be found from the following tables:
Interest, Indices and Commission, Miras, Tiered, Personal Savings, Mortality rate, Additional rates, Discounted mean term, Maturity data
The format for Get table data is defined as follows:
§ Interest Name, Date – will return rate% based on name, date
§ Indices Name, Date – will return value based on name, date
§ Miras Name, Date <R to return rate, A to return amount>
§ Tiered Name, Date, Amount – will return fee% based on date, amount
§ PSV Date, Rate% - will return tax free amount based on date, rate
§ Additional rates Name, Valid from, from date – will return rate based on dates
