Some of the items below can only be ‘set’.  The ‘set‘ option does not allow information to be entered via a data entry user form.

An individual item is defined as:

 

Item                 

Name of the item being defined

Task                

Either ‘Set’, ‘Enter’ or ‘Set and Enter’

Required           

Defines if this field is mandatory or not

Selection    

A dropdown list showing options appropriate to this item. This could be a list of lenders, interest rates, actions, or a list of pre- defined options. This is only available  if ‘Set’ is selected in the ‘Task’ field

Value               

The value the item will be ‘Set’ to

 

For dates there is a variety of different options depending on the tab you are on. For consolidation there are two additional items, Actual From and Actual to dates that relate to the last Actual tab on the current calculation.

 

Min /Max           

Minimum/Maximum value for this item. This may be a date, a number or any of the following pre-defined items:

 

        From date

 

 

        From date + Term

 

 

        Prev calc last from date

 

 

        Prev calc last to date

 

 

        Prev period to date

 

 

        Prev period from date

 

 

        Prev calc 1st to date

 

 

        Prev / x

 

 

        Prev * x

 

 

Any item with a Task value of ‘Enter’ or ‘Set and Enter’ will be shown on the user form to allow data entry. However, certain items can only have a Task value of ‘set’, the ‘set‘ option does not allow information to be entered via a data entry user form.

 

When using Prev / x or Prev * x as the Min or Max entry, Prev is the previous Wizard form value entry and x should be a specified value.

 

When creating a ‘case processor’ wizard, please ensure all actions are defined as ‘set’, as you cannot enter data during this process.

 

 

Note: Some values like ‘1st Adjustment From Date’ and ‘Last Adjustment To Date’ only work with the Set option in the wizard.
